From playing to GMing

Would you like to run D&D or other TTRPG games yourself, but are unsure how to get started?

With a few tips and tricks, we want to support you on your way to finding your own style, strengthen your confidence that what you are doing is the right thing and encourage you to find your own way.
After all, it is your individual style that will ultimately make your sessions a special event.

We invite interested people to a 3-hour workshop to try this out.

The workshop is free of charge and suitable for people of all ages. We will collect money for the room rental.

We look forward to seeing you!

System of the Month November: Draw Steel!

Folks, it’s time to DRAW STEEL! Taking the Keywords Tactial, Heroic, Cinematic and Fantasy, MCDM promise to cut down on the slog of traditional RPGs and to bring fast, thrilling combat with tactical depth. And we will check out, if they hold their promise!

In their playtest adventure The Fall of Blackbottom you will fight armies of demons while saving civilians during a full scale attack of AJAX THE INVINCIBLE OVERLORD on Blackbottom!

For this, we will generate characters before the game or use the provided pregens whatever you prefer.

I will run the adventure twice, once in english and once in german.

System of the Month October: 10 Candles

Ten Candles is a “tragic horror” game rather than survival horror for one main reason: in Ten Candles there are no survivors. In the final scene of the game, all of the characters will die. In this, Ten Candles is not a game about “winning” or beating the monsters. It is a game about being pushed to the brink of madness and despair, searching for hope in a hopeless world, and trying to do something meaningful with your final few hours left.

For the second time, GM Max offers us the opportunity to try out this very low-rule game of pure improvisation 4 times in October! 2 dates are reserved for KuList players. The games will be played in English.

The games are happening on the
10th, 15th, 23rd & 29th of October at 6pm
10th and 29th are reserved for KuLists.

All sessions fully booked

When crocodiles smile

The Pathfinder Society will meet this September again – after the summer break – in the vaults of the association. On 25. September 2024 at 17:30 until approx. 23:00 we agents will go on another adventure. It will be the adventure 5-10: The Crocodile’s Smile and will be played in Swiss German (or in standard German if this works better for individual players).

After ensuring that Fasiel ibn Sazadin saw Qadiran justice for his crimes, the Pathfinder Society received a mysterious letter from his benefactor detailing that she now sees the Society as a formidable opponent.

After receiving this, Venture-Captain Safa spent quite some time traveling and researching across Qadira and Nex, only to find that the benefactor resides in Jalmeray and is a rakshasa with fine tastes. In order to find out more information about her, Safa and Rashmivati are sending a small crew of Pathfinders to attend a local auction in order to do some reconnaissance.

However, while attending the formal event, the Pathfinders can’t help but notice that it looks like one of the guests might have some sticky fingers!

The adventure is suitable for characters of levels 1-4. It is also open to new players who do not yet have any role-playing experience and/or are not yet familiar with the Pathfinder system in its 2nd edition.

System of the Month September: Kids on Bikes

You are teenagers in the small, 80’s inspired town Arcadia. Equipped with nothing but your wits, gadgets and bikes of course, you’ll have to be creative to solve a mystery that has been plaguing your neighbourhood. But don’t worry though, you wont have to do it alone.

Kids on Bikes is a role-playing game played by 3 to 5 people and me, the GM. If you’ve seen Stranger Things or played Life is Strange, you know what you are in for. Because you are playing such young characters, violence will be a last resort – if you play to your strengths and work as a team, you might not need it at all. Role-play and improvisation is very important in this game, as there will be little combat.

GM Cedric will be playing the one-shot adventure Of Kids on Bikes over the course of 4 hours with you. This game is appropriate for players ages 12+. Character creation is handled at the table but requires some preparation at home. We will be role-playing in English.
