DnD-FightClub: 2nd Round!

In the first round of the KuL-Fightclub in the Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum scenario, four giants competed in the destruction of the town of Durn. The obsidian stone giant Lapis Tenebra aka Mario secured the victory with 70 points, narrowly kill-stealing the Storm-Mage Kalis Karr!

The participants can choose from the following DnD5e combat scenarios. All scenarios will be played with pre-made characters.

These scenarios can also be played as a Game Master without any problems. Everything is defined and you can unleash your hordes of enemies on the player characters without mercy. It’s fun 😉

Two greedy kobold clans are trying to steal the opponents treasurehoard by using cunning, skill, and the crushing power of endless reinforcements. Which Clan will you lead to victory?

The Furious Road

Protect the frantic ride of an aid convoy on the rugged Route 666 from the gnolls of the Bloodcackle clan. The team with the bravest stunts and the most insane maneuvers takes the lead.

Aka. we have a fridge… -cabinet full of delicious cold drinks! Thanks to the contributor of our first crowdfunding project, we now have the following bubbly options:

  • coming soon: Hügubier from the Emmental
With a share-snack drawer and convenient storage space directly underneath
The space is a bit limited, please refill 😉

A comment on the product range:

We have started with a beverage selection for now. This selection is flexible, and you are welcome to make suggestions. However, we cannot include too many different drinks because we lack the space to store them all.

We are still deciding which type of mate we should offer and need to try out a few options! If you have any further suggestions, please let us know in the comments!

Revival of our community campaign Arcanor!

For several months, 12 players and two GMs have been playing in the world of Arcanor! Arcanor is a wild continent that has recently been settled by the Empire™ and has become the site of a catastrophe! Thousands of its residents mutated into zombie-like ash creatures, the powers of the mages discharged in astral detonations, and all over the land, so-called Spyros sprouted like tentacle roots from the ground.

The players have taken refuge in their headquarters, the airship port ‘Storm Peak’, and are trying to survive in this harsh world. They searched the ruins of the Empire outpost for survivors and explored the cultures that inhabited the continent in ancient times.

They have made allies and enemies through their actions and now need all the support they can get! Above all, new players! And additional forces for the GM faction consisting of Mario and Tim are very welcome 🙂

How does Arcanor work?

The campaign uses DnD 5e. The players of Arcanor plan their missions and adventures themselves. They choose a previously discovered Location and a goal they want to pursue there, find a date with a GM, explore the continent, and hunt for valuable Arcanium crystals.

During the game sessions, of course, not everyone is present at the same time. Instead, groups of 3-5 players and a game master come together and play a roughly 4-hour adventure.

To write a coherent story that is understandable for everyone, the experiences are stored in our Wiki where they can be read by everyone else. Entries can also be created for Arcanors residents or discoveries, allowing knowledge to be shared. A map maintained by the players records the explorations.

I could explain endlessly, but it’s best if you just ask in the comment section 😉

For new players!

Since the start of the campaign, a lot has happened, but you don’t need to worry about that. In the game, new characters travel to Arcanor on the airship ‘Himmelsturm’ and reach the legendary continent on April 2nd. Except for the Beginner Instructions, you don’t need to read anything else and can discover everything in the game (you are, of course, warmly invited!

To join the game, you are welcome to create your own characters using these instructions, or contact us and we will be happy to do it for you. This way, you can start the game with a pre-made character (which you can of course change at any time).

KuL-Crew-Höck February

After not many updates regarding KuL in February, this month’s meeting was filled with ideas and discussions. Following the meeting, we enjoyed a cool drink with other pen & paper enthusiasts in the Erupt-Lounge, which was great.

In the room itself, various pen & paper events took place in February. Above all, Mario successfully launched the premiere of the One-Shot-Mondays! Soon we will start the next round!

But also, other board games are making their way into our halls. A highly competitive Sunday full of torpedoes and shouted commands heated up the atmosphere for the eight Captain Sonar players.

Summary of the meeting

  • The first round of logo designs revealed a preference for origami dragons. Patricia is now working on additional variations. The voting process for the final version will run until Sunday, March 5th at 12:00. Then the logo commitee will decide.
  • A social media presence will be established.
  • Various ideas for room renovation were planned.
  • Long-term funding is still a bit uncertain. There are many ideas, but they require some time. We are still grateful for any support.

For newcomers: The Fall of Silverpine Watch

The game takes place in German. Tim will be your GM.

In this beginner’s adventure by one of my inspirational bloggers, Scott “the AngryGM” Rehm, the players escort a gnome merchant through the rugged hills of Aesternia, a fantasy land in the style of Tolkien. In doing so, they not only defy the dangers of the wilderness, but must also pass through the castle of Silverpine Watch.

Will you unravel the mystery of the abandoned castle…?

What do I need to know?

We are playing the fifth edition of Dungeons & Dragons. We are looking for people who want to immerse themselves in this legendary pen & paper role-playing game. You can find my interpretation of pen & paper here.

You will assume the roles of 3-5 characters that you embody in the game. We will assign the characters together on game day.

This adventure is suitable for 3-5 players and will take place on Sunday, 16.4. at 14:00. We will play for +- 4 hours.
