Welcome to “The Sincere Series,” a kul-quest that delves into storytelling beyond lighthearted adventures, exploring deeper themes of life, emotions, and secrets. This series offers four standalone one-shot games, each with its unique narrative but united by their somber and thoughtful tone.

Epitaph: A Life Reflecting Through Moments

Begin at the end in Epitaph, where you play a character who has died. Explore their life through significant moments, reflecting on what made them special. Whether a devoted grandmother or an arrogant wizard, your character’s story is messy, complicated, and beautiful, inviting introspection into their journey.

One Child’s Heart: Building Connections in Crisis

In One Child’s Heart, take on the role of child welfare professionals helping a child navigate crisis. Using innovative mechanics like dice systems and tokens, you’ll build connections through meaningful conversations, mirroring real-life resilience and support. This game highlights the power of empathy and dialogue.

Buried Deep: Gothic Secrets Unveiled

Inspired by gothic literature, Buried Deep reveals family secrets using a card deck to navigate complexities. As a family uncovering hidden truths, you’ll grapple with morally grey characters and long-held secrets, much like in classic tales such as “Crimson Peak” and “Wuthering Heights.”

Fall of Magic: Witnessing the Fade of Enchantment

In Fall of Magic, journey to Umbra where magic is dying alongside the Magus. Explore themes of friendship and travel as you witness the decline of an ancient power, questioning what it means to hold onto fading magic.

  • Note: In order to give as many players as possible a chance, we would appreciate it if you register for a maximum of 2 to 3 games to give others a chance as well

Welcome to your first day at the Couriers and Messengers Guild!
Stationed at the bustling guild hall, you’ll sort parcels, make deliveries, and keep the mail moving. But today’s mail isn’t ordinary—some packages bite, others hide secrets, and some even try to escape. With nervous pigeons, cursed deliveries, and outlawed contraband, you’ll need quick thinking, teamwork, and luck to get the mail through—intact and on time.

Note: This session is designed for newcomers, so no prior experience is needed! We’ll teach you everything you need to know. Pre-generated characters will be available, or you can bring your own (Level 1). Somewhat experienced players are asked to wait and only sign up if 3 days before the game there are still free spots available. Thank you for supporting new adventurers!

Trigger warning: The game may include depictions of violence, bad language, death and dying.

KuL Quests – One-Shot-Series – DEATH IN SPACE

The world is broken. In a collapsing universe, your crew is your only family. DEATH IN SPACE takes you into a bleak worker’s future in a universe full of risks, but also opportunities.

DEATH IN SPACE is a game about adventure and uncertain journeys into the darkness of space, where the void whispers to the unfortunate and imbues the bodies of travelers with strange powers. It’s about you and your crew making your spaceship or station a home, your only refuge in a dangerous universe.

Above all, it’s about survival in an abandoned system where resources are scarce and competition is fierce.

In this one-shot series, you’ll experience a variety of things waiting for you in the void: Whether it’s life in the Earth Replacement Space Station: the Iron Ring. The delivery of critical goods to research stations on distant planets. Or dealing with the living detritus that calls the Void its home. Be prepared for a dirty worker future in a universe full of risks, but also opportunities.

Maximum number of players per table: 5

The sessions will take place on February 10, 18 and 24 from 18:00 to 22:00.

KuL Quests – One-Shot-Series – Star Trek Adventures 2E

Space, the final frontier. Join Starfleet and travel with your crew through the Star Trek universe. Explore strange new worlds, encounter fantastic alien life forms and experience dramatic adventures in an endless galaxy.

GM Mario plays the 2d20 system Star Trek Adventures 2E by Modiphius with you. You take on the role of one or more different crew members of the USS Masaka and fight, negotiate and sneak through known and unknown parts of the galaxy. You can create your own characters before the game or choose a pre-made character. The plan is to play 4-6 one-shots. After that we will see how much interest and motivation there is!

Attention: Mario is not a huge Star Trek connoisseur. Fans of the series should see it more as a bad fanfic and everyone is welcome – even if you don’t know Star Trek at all.

We announced some time ago that the Arcanor campaign had ended. Since then, we have been thinking about what to do next.

Events for everyone

It is important to us that the successor to Arcanor is also open to everyone who enjoys playing tabletop role-playing games. Participation should also be free of charge – although we are of course grateful for a contribution to the collection. This is why all sessions in the KuL Quest series will be organised in this way.

More than «just» «Dungeons & Dragons»

Arcanor was a «Dungeons & Dragons« campaign. Of course, the oldest tabletop role-playing game system is also familiar to many people who have had little contact with the hobby. However, KuL Quests are not restricted to a specific set of rules. All GMs who would like to run a session can rent a KuL room free of charge – whether it’s «Dungeons & Dragons», «The Dark Eye», «Shadowrun» or the latest hot cake from the recently launched Kickstarter campaign.

And when is the new KuL campaign coming?

Unlike the previous Arcanor sessions, KuL Quest sessions are not all set in the same universe. However, we are in the process of creating a new campaign – a complete world with its own story and many new adventure possibilities for GMs and players! We are therefore calling on all GMs who would like to help with the development: Get in touch with us on Discord.

Do all KuL Quest sessions have to take place in the new campaign world?

No, they don’t have to. As a GM, you always have the freedom to decide that your session is not part of the campaign. However, sessions that are part of the campaign world will be advertised and marked accordingly. Just like the Arcanor sessions used to be advertised.
