Open Day at Katakomben & Lindwürmer

On 08.11.2025, we warmly invite you from 14:00 to 18:00 to our Open Day and the opening celebration of our new gaming spaces at Weissensteinstrasse 16 in Bern.
Come by, catch up with familiar faces, meet new people, and discover potential fellow players. It’s a great opportunity for the Bern RPG community to come together again. We’re looking forward to seeing you!

What is Katakomben & Lindwürmer?

Playing brings people together. It’s an expression of creativity, curiosity, community, and living culture. But it’s not always easy to find enough players or space to play—especially if you have limited room at home or are new in town.
Katakomben & Lindwürmer operates rentable gaming spaces in Bern, giving you spacious, safe places to play even if your flat is small, or you’ve just moved to the city. In addition, we host regular social events and open game sessions, where you can discover new games and meet new people.

When? Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Where? Weissensteinstrasse 16, 3008 Bern
Age restriction: Ages 14 and up. Our decorations are not childproof – thank you for your understanding!

Update on our crowdfunding campaign

We have surpassed the 3,000 CHF mark! 🎉

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all donors who made this possible! Thanks to your generous support, we can equip the rooms at our new location with everything we need: sound, controllable lighting and beautiful decorations.

Because of your help, we are now looking forward to the move with much more optimism. We are convinced that Weissensteinstrasse 16 will be a kul new location for our association – and the fact that you are now also supporting us financially to furnish this location in a way that is typical of our association takes a huge weight off our shoulders.

Speaking of burdens and shoulders: if you have the time and energy to help us with the move, please get in touch with us on Discord.

If you would like to support us in our crowdfunding campaign: please do! With a larger budget, we can, for example, replace the somewhat rickety chairs in the current lounge with better ones, furnish the rooms with additional decorative items and generally use higher-quality materials.

There was another Höck in May with lots of interesting topics and discussions – and we don’t want to withhold a summary from you. Finally, as usual, an outlook for the coming weeks.

Information from the Höck

  • We put the finishing touches to the terms and conditions and then post them on the website. All people who book our room must agree to them.
  • If you think something important is missing in our rooms – whether it’s equipment or decoration, for example – please let us know via Discord in the Feedback & Ideas channel. (By the way, replacements for the chairs that are currently in the lounge are already on the wish list).
  • The board games and RPG books are now electronically inventoried.
  • Board games can no longer be borrowed and taken home, but with the lounge we now have a great place to play them. (Unlike RPG books, which can still be taken home, too much can get lost with board games).
  • All Höcks for this year are posted in the Discord events and in the calendar, so that you can transfer the dates to your calendars and nothing stands in the way of your participation.

    Stationed at the bustling guild hall, you’ll sort parcels, make deliveries, and keep the mail moving. But today’s mail isn’t ordinary—some packages bite, others hide secrets, and some even try to escape. With nervous pigeons, cursed deliveries, and outlawed contraband, you’ll need quick thinking, teamwork, and luck to get the mail through—intact and on time.
    This session is designed for newcomers, so no prior experience is needed!

A strange fog

On this second Wednesday of the month, the Pathfinder Society meets again in the vaults of the association: 09. April 2025 at 17:30 until approx. 22:30 we agents will go on another adventure. It will be the adventure 6-05: Intro into the Year of Immortal Influence and will be played in Swiss German (or in standard German if this works better for individual players).

The Heroes travel to the Forest of Spirits to investigate a mysterious fog that has blocked all merchant travel on the Spirit Road. On the way, they must deal with an angry kami, investigate a village, and root out the bandit cell whose nefarious activities have caused the kami to isolate the village.

The adventure is suitable for characters of levels 1-4. It is also open to new players who do not yet have any role-playing experience and/or are not yet familiar with the Pathfinder system in its 2nd edition.

Hey! Shh… hey. Yes, you. Do you already know the KuL Quests?

A few weeks ago, we introduced you to our new event series: the KuL Quests. The goal of this series is to bring as many people as possible to the role-playing table.

Since then, two KuL Quests have already been announced and partially held. But if we have our way, there should be many more!

That’s why we’ve simplified the registration process. If you would like to offer a public role-playing session with us, you can now let us know via the form. We will ask for all the information we need. And if we still have slots available, we will make our game rooms available to you free of charge.
